How to backup and restore your phone splash screen (noob guide)

Here's the simple guide to restore and backup your splash screen to get back your phone warranty :D

Step by step guide to backup and restore spice mi300 splash screen (with picture)

Backup splash screen

(skip if you just want to restore the stock mi300 splash screen as attached below)

1.    1. How to backup your current splash screen

Requirement :

=Rooted phone with terminal

1. Open terminal on your phone

2. Enter command 'su' (allow super user access)

3. Enter command 'cat /dev/mtd/mtd2 >/sdcard/splash.img

2.    2. How to restore your splash screen

Requirement
>> adb file (download below)

>> fastboot (download below)

>> splash.img (download below)
>> usb driver (download below)

>> phone usb cable

>> Windows 7/Vista/XP Operating System
>> Internet Connection

>> command prompt basic (run cmd from search for windows vista and 7 / click run and type cmd and press enter to run cmd from windows XP)

Follow this step

1. Turn off your phone

2. Boot phone to fastboot mode  (Hang Up + Vol Down + Power) 

3. Plug in your usb cable. install adb usb driver if it ask for a driver.. (browse the driver folder)

4. On pc go to cmd (start , search cmd and press enter) you will see black windows with 

   [[ C:\Users\<your username>  ]]

5. download adb dlls (extract all) , fastboot and splash image and put it in users directory. (Where you can see My    

    Documents, My Pictures and Downloads folder)

6. in the cmd type “ fastboot flash splash splash.img ” without the “”

7. finish flashing the splash.img then type “fastboot reboot” and then type “exit” and plug out your  

   usb cable

8. tadaa.. finished
